The Story of the Huggle

At the end of 2007, my sister Alex gave me a self-sewn sleeve blanket. I liked them, but didn't use them for that
intended way: not covered from the front, but from behind
wrapped like a kind of coat.

With all comfort, both ways of carrying also had their own
Cons: Sitting at a desk, feet were inadequate
warmed. You couldn't walk around with it without wiping the floor
and without running the risk of tripping over it. Leave when not in use
tuck away the sleeve blanket badly. These disadvantages applied to it

In the summer of 2008 I decided to tackle the matter and bought one
sewing machine and started tinkering. In the spring of 2009 saw the first -
still somewhat awkward-looking - prototype, the light of day.

The invention was granted a patent in Great Britain in 2013 and in Germany in 2014.

But it was only at the beginning of 2018 that the Huggle made its breakthrough thanks to the media attention of an inventor show on German TV .

While much remains difficult to see my Huggle vision materialized into reality, the goal is what guides me.
